Join CAP

     If you’re interested in joining CAP’s cadet program, you must be between 12 and 18 years old. You can get a good idea of what cadet membership is all about by visiting our squadron on a regular meeting night. (Wednesday nights from 6:45pm to 9:15pm) For a good ongoing sense of what CAP units are doing throughout the country, you can check out each month’s edition of Civil Air Patrol News, CAP's monthy newspaper.

     While we welcome pilots, you don’t have to be a pilot to join. CAP offers many avenues of volunteer service, including emergency services, training and mentoring for cadets, and aerospace education. We also need volunteers for community outreach, media relations and administrative responsibilities.
     You must be at least 18 to join CAP as an adult member. For the protection of our cadets, prospective members must undergo a fingerprint screen.
